Dual Integration Concept

Shortage of STEM experts

STEM experts (i.e. STEM academics) are desperately sought after. Various reports agree that after a slight decline due to coronavirus, the number of missing STEM experts has increased significantly again in Germany.

This shortage is hitting the German economy at a time of major upheaval: digitalization, decarbonization, demographics and de-globalization.

International Candidates

The situation is very different in other parts of the world.

Very well-trained and experienced STEM experts are available and are very interested in continuing their careers in Germany.

DUALINTEG is therefore looking for the best candidates for its own projects and also on behalf of companies worldwide.

However, the biggest shortcoming and very frequent exclusion criterion is a lack of German language skills.

Dual Integration

This is precisely where the principle of dual integration comes in.

Dual integration means that a candidate initially carries out work assignments from their home base as part of a temporary collaboration (possibly also familiarizing themselves with a specific subject) and learns German at the same time.

Contractual Relationship

During dual integration, the selected candidate is employed in their home country by an Employer of Record (EoR)**, with whom the German employer in turn concludes a contract.

DUALINTEG supports the EoR selection process.

The contractual relationship described here supports compliance with legal regulations in the countries concerned.

Of course, this contractual arrangement is not necessary if a German employer has its own branch in the country concerned.

** often also called Professional Employer Organization (PEO)

Advantage Time Saving

A career move from one country to another usually takes a lot of time. The large amount of time required can lead to the entire move failing.

One of the major advantages of dual integration is that time can be saved.

This benefits both companies and applicants.

Advantage of Effort Reduction

When moving to Germany, a large number of laws, rules and established procedures must be observed.

For an applicant from abroad, this can be very confusing and daunting.

That's why DUALINTEG helps applicants to find their way through the jungle of German authorities:

➞ Effort Reduction

Advantage of Cost Saving

A whole range of costs are unavoidable when moving to Germany for work.

Typical cost drivers are Language courses, induction training and time off work for this.

The concept of dual integration creates the conditions for a kind of cost compensation.
